PDP Crisis Worsen In Rivers State

Latest reports indicate that the recent visit of the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, to Rivers State has deepened the crisis rocking the state chapter of the party.

It was gathered that while it was reported that Mu’azu’s visit was in connection with the internal crisis in the party, another source said his visit was for the commissioning of projects and donation of relief materials to the victims of Rumowoji Mile 1 Market, Port Harcourt fire disaster, that occurred on December 17, 2013.

However, according to Daily Sun report, the latest crisis rocking the PDP in Rivers State is due to the fact that a faction of the party in the state was not informed about Mu’azu’s visit.
